Pride Evensong - The Diocese of South Carolina
Sunday, October 11, 2026 · 5:00 PM
St. Stephen's Episcopal Church · No. 67 Anson Street · Charleston, SC · 29401 · Free
Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 11, at 5:00 p.m. as we gather at St. Stephen’s to kick off Charleston Pride Week with a diocesan-wide Pride Evensong.
Join us for a beautiful Evensong as we celebrate God’s expansive love and the truth that everyone has a place at God’s table. Singers from across the diocese will come together as one choir, with a special debut of Dominick DiOrio’s Our Wildest Imagining, a moving new work inspired by the stories, sermons, and sayings of the Church’s first openly gay bishop, the Rt. Rev. V. Gene Robinson.
The Rt. Rev. Ruth Woodliff Stanley will offer the homily, and the evening will conclude with a light reception and fellowship.
Come as you are. Celebrate who God has created you to be. All are welcome at St. Stephen’s!
